How to request deletion
- Enter the email address you use to sign in to SYNC.
- We email that address a 6-digit verification code, so only the account owner can make the request.
- Enter the code to confirm.
- We delete your account within 30 days and email you when it's done.
Signed in on the web? You can also choose Delete account at the bottom of the menu in the SYNC web app, without needing a code.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email address, phone number, and profile details
- Your login credentials and signature
- Your notification settings and device tokens
What may be kept
- Records you created for your employer — such as submitted daily reports, timesheets, incident reports, and approvals — belong to your organization and may be retained by it, since construction records are often required to be kept.
- Backups are overwritten within 30 days, so deleted information can remain in backups for up to that long.
- Information we are legally required to keep, for as long as the law requires.
